Farmcraft Solar Generator

I bought this permanent magnet generator from Missouri Wind & Solar for just over $500, and I hook it up to my turbine assembly to see what kind of power I can get out of it. I quickly discover that hydro electric is hard... There are so many variables in play that it's a bit overwhelming, and this is going to take a lot of time and effort to get my system optimized. After many different tests in this video, I get a maximum power output that isn't horrible, but it's also disappointing. I was hoping for about double that. I now realize I really need to get the turbine design figured out, as well as completing the draft tube before I can really see what the generator is going to be able to produce. From what I can see, this generator is a good unit, and performs as advertised. Now I'm going to get back to work...
