At CES 2026, I visited Bosch to learn about many of the technologies that power the tech we use daily like Bosch sensors that power everything from robot hands using barometric pressure detection for touch sensitivity to smart glasses with bone conduction speech recognition via accelerometers, while their BSH appliance division showcased the 800 series induction cooktop with AutoChef temperature management and matte glass surfaces. Origify, an anti-counterfeiting software that authenticates individual products using nothing but your iPhone camera by detecting microscopic surface variations invisible to the human eye. The Bosch eBike Flow app now features Mark as Stolen theft protection with ecosystem-wide blacklisting, and their new NVIDIA-powered Smart Cockpit brings Microsoft Teams integration, AI-powered street sign translation, and natural language calendar management to vehicles. From 1mm accelerometers to cordless vacuums with particle detection LEDs, Bosch proves they're quietly essential to nearly every piece of technology consumers already own.
