Flexibility is not always a good thing if it comes at the expense of pelvic stability due to the loss of hamstrings support. Your pelvis is the foundation of your movement and breathing. It supports all your upright activity. When people are too flexible, they often destabilize themselves and end up over-using their hip flexors, lower back and neck muscles for movement and breathing. This is not a good thing. It severely disrupts autonomic nervous system function. In this video I explain why impressive flexibility isn't always a good thing, and what it really means.
