One of the most distinctive features of New Glenn is its landing gear, and I put a great deal of effort into recreating it. However, because the landing gear is relatively small, it was difficult for it to fully support the weight of the rocket. To solve this, I designed a small support stand that helps maintain the deployed shape. Although this stand does not exist on the real rocket, it allows the folding and deployment mechanism of the landing gear to be expressed more precisely and reliably. When assembling the landing gear, please make sure to insert the parts into the correct holes. Be sure to carefully check the positions before assembly. If the upper cover doesn’t stay fixed after you deploy the landing legs, try pulling it slightly outward — it should secure itself in place. The 2nd stage can be separated, and the detachable fairing has also been recreated. The feather details were designed in a slightly raised form because color separation is difficult with single-color printing. However, makers with multi-color 3D printers can easily paint these details directly in the slicer. For detailed printing and assembly instructions, please refer to the video guide. Thank you for your continued support, and I hope all GOODesign space fans enjoy this new addition! 🚀 1 : 144 scale Largest part in printing, size = X 83mm, Y 50mm, Z 190mm, After full assembly size= X 83mm, Y 60mm, Z 684mm Total Build Time : 95h / Plastic Weight : 380g
