LAST DAY IN HONG KONG | Food, Shopping, Trams, Dumplings & Symphony of Lights On my last day in Hong Kong, I decided to do what I love most — eat, walk, explore, and soak in the city one last time. And honestly… what a perfect way to say goodbye. Book your day tours in Hong Kong: https://gyg.me/OBD5yEUd Use my code DESIGIRLTRAVELLER5 to avail discounts on all your bookings. In this vlog, I explore Hong Kong Island, hop on the iconic double-decker Hong Kong Tramways, eat some of the most delicious dumplings, sip strong Hong Kong-style coffee, shop at the famous sneaker street, try the viral egg puff, and end the night with the magical Symphony of Lights show. 1. Watching the Iconic Hong Kong Trams No trip to Hong Kong Island is complete without riding the historic “ding ding” trams. Slow, charming, and incredibly affordable — it’s one of the best ways to see the city like a local. 2. Dumplings & Coffee Hong Kong is world-famous for its dumplings — steamed, pan-fried, juicy, simple, and so satisfying. I also stopped for a strong cup of Hong Kong-style coffee — bold, intense, and perfect for fueling a full day of exploring. 3. Shopping at Sneaker Street If you love street shopping, you have to visit Fa Yuen Street, also known as Sneaker Street. Rows and rows of sneakers, streetwear, and sports brands — whether you buy or just browse, the vibe is electric. 4. Trying the Famous Egg Puff I finally tried the iconic Hong Kong egg puff (bubble waffle) — crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect as a walking snack while exploring the markets. 5. Symphony of Lights Ended my trip at Victoria Harbour watching the Symphony of Lights. Every evening at 8 PM, the skyline lights up in sync — lasers, music, reflections on the water. A dramatic and beautiful way to say goodbye to Hong Kong. Hong Kong may be known as one of the most expensive cities in the world, but it’s also one of the most dynamic — where old trams meet skyscrapers, street food meets luxury shopping, and tradition blends seamlessly with modern life.
