I chose vodka as the base to keep the flavor as close as possible to the non-alcoholic version, no botanicals, no barrel notes, just coconut and coffee. Coconut-washing the vodka reinforces that clean, tropical profile without overpowering the drink.
FULL RECIPE — Boozy Coconut Cloud Espresso
Coconut-Washed Vodka
350 ml quality vodka
75 ml melted non-deodorized coconut oil
Instructions:
Combine vodka and coconut oil in a sealable jar.
Stir (or shake every time the oil separates) for 1 hour.
Let the oil separate, freeze until solid, then filter through a coffee filter at room temperature.
Bottle and refrigerate.

Espresso Cloud (makes ~10 drinks)
200 ml heavy cream
100 ml coconut cream
90 ml cooled espresso
90 ml Licor 43
Instructions:
Stir, transfer to a cream whipper, charge with one N₂O cartridge, shake 30 seconds, and refrigerate 30 minutes.
