Today’s video features a project I’ve been wanting to build for a long time: a 1/24 scale version of my Axial Capra 1.9 4WS, which is one of my all-time favorite RC crawlers. Using a 3D printed chassis kit from TugaRC, I was finally able to recreate the look and feel of the larger Capra in micro form. I paired the chassis with premium components including LGRP Spider 9 axles, Mofo RC wheels, and Furitek electronics, then finished the build with custom graphics inspired by the Currie/Nitto livery from my 1/10 scale rig. The result is exactly what I was hoping for: a highly capable mini crawler that captures the spirit and performance of the original Capra in a much smaller package.
