Kaoss Pad V - or KPV is an interesting evolution of Korg’s XY pad product line - not just because they improved and added effects, sampling and looper features, but also because they made the effects completely customisable. It’s got the effects you’d expect from a KAOSS PAD - filters, modulation, delays, reverbs, vocal effects, a vocoder and even a few drum and synth sounds, but, if you’re brave enough to dive into its menus, you can customise its effects or make entirely new ones of your own. Improvements have also been made on the hardware side, the screen is now a dual-touch RGB screen, it's got USB audio, better I/O, and more.
