Drawing from my background in graphic design and woodworking, I explore how light, color, repetition, and material choice can transform a familiar graphic form into something expressive and atmospheric. The piece combines walnut, layered acrylic, and custom lighting to create a lamp that not only illuminates a room physically, but also changes how the space feels. Along the way, the build includes experimentation, mistakes, problem-solving, and a few moments of genuine surprise.
