Who is the best Valentine you could ever have? Your dogs, of course! Today on Gone to the Snow Dogs, we are heading into the kitchen to whip up some vibrant, naturally red heart-shaped cookies for Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor. These treats get their stunning color from a "magic" ingredient—beetroot powder—which the girls absolutely loved even before the cookies hit the oven! Between Memphis trying to keep her fur white, Kira showing off her athletic patience, and Eleanor attempting to "wash the dishes" before we even started, it was a chaotic and fun-filled baking day. Despite the 40 mph winds and the frozen tundra outside, we stayed warm inside making memories (and a bit of a purple mess) with the pups.
