Video Description
Upper cervical stiffness can contribute to neck pain, headaches, reduced head rotation, and tension at the base of the skull. In this video, I’ll show you several exercises designed to improve mobility in the upper part of the neck, including the joints that help with nodding and rotation.
These exercises focus on gentle movement, improved control, and reducing stiffness in the muscles and joints near the top of the cervical spine. In many cases, restoring mobility here can help improve comfort during daily activities such as turning your head, looking up, or maintaining posture for longer periods.
As always, move slowly, stay within a comfortable range, and avoid pushing into pain, dizziness, or unusual symptoms.
If you are dealing with persistent neck pain, headaches, or limited mobility, these exercises may help improve how your neck moves and feels.
