This video has no speaking or talking- made for your relaxation, as well as study and sleeping too! Lots of crunchy wax cracking, crispy slime sounds, and colourful little guys for your visual enjoyment. I made this video while I had covid, I had completely lost my voice so I thought it would be a great time to make an ASMR with no speaking! (Don’t worry, it was when I was on the mend, I made sure to rest properly💖) These little wax objects were such a fun crafting experiment. I spent well over 2 full days just making them- making the slime, filling the molds and dipping in hot wax, then decorating them! I lost quite a few along the way as I learned what worked and what didn’t. Wax that was too thin quickly broke as I touched them, and foam slime expanded and burst through thinner areas too. I’m interested to try to make more wax/slime creations, next time I would like to use soft clay on some for a change in texture. My biggest road block was not learned until actually filming the video- I had made bright colours of slime and thought it would be no issue to put multiple colours together in molds. Bright red, gingerbread brown, neon green…. once in the mold for a few days the colours mixed completely themselves together. The colours became dulled and strange instead of being swirled bright shades. When the final colour result was revealed it really surprised me, and I didn’t love it. Ah well. That’s just something I would do differently next time! Strangely on a few my method worked fine, for example the snowman at (20:26) Why did the colour blocking work on some and not others!! Many such questions.
