We Sent the Rotator... But Let the Ford F250 Take the Lead! When police dispatch called in a "large box truck off the roadway" near the railroad tracks, we didn't take any chances—we rolled out the heavy hitter. But when we arrived at the scene, things looked a little different than described. Instead of letting the rotator take the lead, we decided it was the perfect time to test the "resolve" of our new-to-us Ford F250 Off-Road Recovery & Traffic Control Unit (#19). This was the ultimate first test for its 16K winch and brand-new synthetic line. In this video: The Call: Navigating snow-covered roads to find a loaded Aaron's box truck in a ditch. The Gear: A sneak peak into Unit #19’s setup. The Recovery: Watching the synthetic line and 16K winch work to pull the loaded truck back to solid ground. The Result: Proof that sometimes, it's not the size of the truck, but the knowledge of how to properly utilize what you have that matters. What do you think of the new F250 setup?
