Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, former star rifler of Evil Geniuses and Cloud9, is the star of the 517th Episode of 'Reflections'. This is part three of three about n0thing's career.
n0thing began as an NA CS prodigy in the mid 2000s and eventually broke through onto Evil Geniuses where he quickly became the face of the team. Being the star of the wildly popular 'n0thing but headshots' movie helped and he soon became the latter day NA hope and would be ranked 11th best player of 2010 by HLTV.org.
With EG n0thing had some top finishes like placing fourth at the IEM VI Global Finals and winning MSI Beat IT, where his team defeated f0rest's FNATIC in the final. Other international results were more up and down, but domestically his teams won many domestic crowns at ESEA LANs.
In CS:GO n0thing's compLexity/Cloud9 line-ups were the most successful NA team until Liquid's 2016 rise. Play-off finishes at the first three majors in a row saw a top end of a semis finish at the first and a very tight loss to eventual winners NiP at the third.
In 2015 Cloud9 went on the now famed tank top era summer run of three straight international event finals appearances, though they had to settle for second place on all three occasions. First there was a loss to FNATIC at ESL ESEA Pro League S1 Finals, then a loss to NAVI at ESWC and finally device's TSM denied them the FACEIT Stage 2 Finals trophy.
2016 was a down year for most of it, as n0thing attempted to become IGL himself and the team integrated Stewie2k, but saw a late revival as the team finished second at Dreamhack Bucharest and won ESL Pro League S4 over world number ones SK Gaming.
2017 was the wind down of n0thing's CS career, but still had some late runs as C9 made top four at ECS S3 Finals and reached the final of ESL One Cologne. Alas a poor performance at the PGL Krakow major saw the team make roster moves and n0thing was one of the departing names.
n0thing would stand-in for MOUZ at ESL One Belo Horizonte in 2018 and the team was a single map from winning the entire event, despite n0thing replacing star oskar.
In part three, n0thing talks about the reasons his time at Cloud9 ended, why he didn't keep playing, coming back to stand-in for MOUZ at ESL One Belo Horizonte, appearing on the JRE, playing VALORANT and his time in the CSPPA.
This interview was recorded on the 18th of January, 2026.
