This is a real fun chocolate chocolate chocolate dessert perfect for Easter Sunday and all through the year. The kids (and adults) will love it! A rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake set inside a Cadburys chocolate egg. If you don't have the chocolate egg you can still make this delicious cheesecake for family and friends. Not needed if you just want to make the chocolate cheesecake) 4 digestive biscuits (or Graham cracker crumbs) 2 TBS unsalted butter (melted) 3/4 cup heavy cream (divided) 100 grams dark chocolate (at least 60%) chopped 1/2 cup cream cheese 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)1/2 cup cream cheese (softened) 1 TBS powdered sugar Open the Cadburys chocolate egg and refrigerate. Crush the Digestive biscuit and mix with the melted butter. Spoon into the two chocolate egg shells. (or into the bottom of a 6" round cake tin) Refrigerate. Bring HALF of the cream to a boil and stir in the chocolate until melted. Add the cream cheese to a bowl along with the powdered sugar and remaining cream. Microwave for 30 seconds to soften the cream cheese then whisk until smooth and creamy. Stir in the chocolate cream. Stir in the mini chocolate chips (optional) Spoon into the chocolate shells on top of the crumbs. Refrigerate until set. Cut the chocolate mini eggs in half and arrange on top of the cheesecake.
