I love a good pony makeover… but this one might be one of the most satisfying yet. In today’s video we’re giving my young horse Eileen a full glow up ahead of her coming back into work. You’ll all remember her from the education videos over Christmas, but up until now she has been very much in her baby pony era. The best part about this makeover is that Eileen has never had any sort of haircut before, so we are starting with a completely blank canvas when it comes to her mane and tail. There was a lot of fluff, a lot of guesswork, and a big transformation ahead. I genuinely could not believe the difference by the end. She went from looking like a slightly scruffy baby field pony to a really smart, put together sports pony in just a few hours. It’s amazing what a bit of tidying and shaping can do. This is all part of getting her ready to come back into work and continue her education. She might not know it yet, but she definitely looks the part now.
