In this video, we continue our journey deeper into the breathtaking Nubra Valley, driving through some of the most remote and surreal landscapes in northern India. We make our way past the tiny village of Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages in India, where we get a rare glimpse into a completely different way of life. Walking through the village, we learn about the local culture, history, and what it’s like to live in such an isolated yet beautiful part of the world. After exploring Turtuk, we head back toward Hunder, where the landscape shifts once again into rolling sand dunes surrounded by towering mountains. Here, we experience one of Nubra Valley’s most unique sights, the iconic double-humped camels, a reminder of the region’s history along the ancient Silk Road.
