After nearly a month parked in northern Spain, we’re finally rolling again. 🚚 In this episode of Epic Family Road Trip, we wait out a couple of quiet days for Ford Spain 🇪🇸 to reopen so we can get a much-needed oil change on the Rossmönster before heading south. Sometimes overland travel means slowing down — even when you’re itching to move. Once the truck is ready, we point the nose south and drive nearly 1,000 kilometers across Spain, trading green northern landscapes for wide-open southern deserts. Along the way, we camp in a few unforgettable spots — one perched along the Spanish coast, another tucked away in the peaceful countryside, reminding us why slow travel and wild camping are such a huge part of how we explore. This journey takes us all the way to the dramatic landscapes of the Gorafe Desert, a place shaped by time, erosion, and history. It’s a stark contrast to where we started, and a powerful reminder of just how diverse Spain really is.
