From video: $15 TVBox USB video capture device - Junk or gem?
Published: April 2, 2026

Video Description

Despite negative reviews when it was new in 2006, the TVBox provides high-quality video capture at a bargain price... as long as any analog videotape sources you're capturing contain a time base corrector (TBC). It supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM and also has a now-mostly-useless analog TV tuner with remote control. eBay listing for the TVBox (while supplies last): https://www.ebay.com/itm/122697010173 32/64-bit Windows 7+ drivers (feel free to upload elsewhere): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yWhPdq0Lmjv7YcAoKL2-NK5r04YDIy3T/view?usp=sharing Note that the 64-bit driver seems rather flakey; switching to the S-video input will often make it crash, and I couldn't get it to work at all in AMCap. Your best bet may be to use it on a 32-bit system.
