LIMON Bus from Kyoto to Amanohashidate
Published: February 25, 2026
Video Description
Join me on a full day trip from Kyoto, Japan to Amanohashidate and the famous Ine fisherman village — two of Kyoto Prefecture’s most beautiful and underrated destinations.
I took the LIMON charter bus from Kyoto Station, making this an easy and affordable day trip for travelers looking for alternative things to do outside the city. Along the way, we stop at a michi-no-eki (Japanese roadside rest stop), enjoy lunch at Amanohashidate, and visit one of Japan’s top three most scenic places.
At the mountaintop viewpoint, you’ll see the iconic “dragon in the sky” sandbar before we continue on to Ine, a floating fisherman village known for its historic funaya boathouses. We end the day with a cruise around the bay — and yes, we feed the birds!
