01:25 — Secure the new shock absorber in a vice.
01:54 — Install the new spring.
02:47 — Remove the support from under the rear control arm.
03:01 — Lower the car and tighten the wheel bolts in a criss-cross pattern.
Shock absorber and coil springs on BMW 1 Hatchback (F20) (Year of Construction 11.2010–06.2019) / BMW 3 Saloon (F30, F80) (Year of Construction 03.2011–10.2018) / BMW 3 Touring (F31) (Year of Construction 07.2011–06.2019) cars should be changed, as a rule, according to one and the same procedure.
