I’ve always had one big question about electric trucks…
Can they actually do truck stuff?
After 30 days daily driving the 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss, towing, road tripping, and putting it through real use… I finally have an answer.
And honestly… I didn’t expect it.
Hello and welcome to the shop. I’m Jared, and this is The Questionable Garage.
For years, I’ve had the same question a lot of you probably have…
Has anyone actually made an electric truck that works like a real truck?
Not a gimmick. Not a tech demo. Not something pretending to be a truck.
A real, usable, everyday truck.
So when I got the chance to spend 30 days daily driving the 2026 Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss, I treated it exactly how I would any other truck.
I towed with it.
I road tripped it.
I used it for normal life.
And I paid attention to the stuff that actually matters.
Because to me, a truck needs to:
Carry stuff
Tow stuff
Go places it probably shouldn’t
And ideally… be fun
This video isn’t a spec sheet breakdown. There are plenty of people who will read you numbers.
This is a real-world, car guy perspective on what it’s like to actually live with an electric truck.
And more importantly…
If this is finally the point where EV trucks make sense.
Because I’ll be honest…
I didn’t expect this outcome.
