Video Description
For the last 6 months I’ve been testing something I’ve always wondered about…
Is it better to buy the cheaper $950 firewood pole triaxle loads — or spend $1,250 on the larger scrag pole loads?
The scrag loads have bigger logs and cost more up front… but do they actually produce more finished firewood? And more importantly — what does the cost per IBC tote really come out to?
So instead of guessing, I worked through BOTH loads completely and tracked the results.
Here’s what we found:
• $950 Firewood Pole Load → 25 IBC Totes
• $1,250 Scrag Load → 32.5 IBC Totes
Now we finally know the true cost per tote — and whether bigger logs actually make financial sense.
If you’re running a firewood business (or thinking about starting one), this breakdown might save you thousands over time.
