Welcome back to another New York City vlog!! 🥰 I'm taking you along on some winter days in my life living in NYC! 🚕 From cozy daily routines and workouts, to fun friend get-togethers, to long overdue chats, and adventuring around the city, we do a little bit of everything in today's vlog. It's been a long time since I've chatted so openly about my chronic pain struggles, and I've never really touched on trying to overcome perfectionism from a cultural lens of being Asian-American. And though I'm feeling vulnerable and anxious as I'm getting ready to post this, it also feels really cathartic to open up about these things. I think with posting less in the last year, I've felt very averse to being vulnerable and chatting about different struggles and anxieties. I kind of just felt that I was already posting less, so when I was posting, I wanted to keep things more focused on the content vs. me. But now, being in a new year, coming back to YouTube, and starting to share more of my life again, it feels like it just makes sense to start opening up and having more of these kinds of conversations again - especially because, who knows? Maybe some of you out there can relate.
