At-Home Sleep Apnea Test

Urethral strictures (or Urethral Stricture Disease) is a urinary tract condition involving scarring and narrowing of the urethra, with reductions in diameter of the urethral lumen. This reduction in urethral lumen diameter leads to a host of issues, including obstructive urinary symptoms like weak urinary stream and post-void dribbling, and also increased risk of UTIs and urinary retention. Because of these findings, it can be confused with an enlarged prostate; however, there are a few differing characteristics between an enlarged prostate and urethral strictures that help clinicians to delineate which one is the cause of symptoms.
