From one of the most beautiful mosques in the world to traditional Omani food, historic forts, and bustling souks… this day had everything. We start our day at the incredible Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks in Oman. The architecture here is unreal — massive chandeliers, intricate designs, and one of the largest carpets in the world. Definitely a must-visit when travelling to Oman. After that, we dive into authentic Omani cuisine, trying local dishes and experiencing traditional flavours that you don’t usually find outside the country. Next, we begin our Oman road trip journey, renting a car to explore beyond Muscat — something we highly recommend if you want to experience the real Oman. We then head down to the stunning Muscat waterfront, visiting the historic Al Jalali Fort, overlooking the harbour with incredible panoramic views. This place truly feels like stepping back in time. To finish off the day, we explore the famous Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the Middle East — packed with spices, perfumes, souvenirs, and hidden alleyways. And finally… we end the night with an unforgettable meal at Rozna Restaurant, one of the most famous traditional restaurants in Muscat, known for its authentic Omani dishes and unique setting.
