In this spontaneous Bangkok adventure, I explore Bang Na District, Bangkok, one of the most underrated and local areas in the city. Instead of sticking to tourist hotspots like Sukhumvit or Khao San Road, I decided to get completely lost in Bang Na — and what followed was one of the most authentic experiences I’ve had in Thailand. I wandered the streets of Udomsuk, tried incredible Bangkok street food, and explored Khun Yim Market @ Udomsuk, a vibrant local Thai market filled with affordable food, friendly vendors, and everyday Bangkok life. While exploring, I even stepped into a local Bangkok dentist clinic for a teeth cleaning and fillings — showing you how affordable and professional dental care in Thailand can be. While waiting for my appointment, I walked towards the Bangkok River, discovered a peaceful Thai temple, and had an unforgettable conversation with a friendly monk who shared stories about life, Buddhism, and living in Bangkok.
