In this video, I explore the most underrated country I’ve visited in Asia. I spent less than a week in the landlocked nation of Laos in Southeast Asia, and it turned into some of the most eventful days I’ve had traveling in the region. From Vientiane to Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang, I explored the nation for 5 days. I took to the skies with hot air balloon rides and paramotoring, then explored the ground by driving through hilly roads on buggies and scooters. In Vang Vieng, I floated down the Mekong as part of the town’s infamous tipsy tubing scene. In Luang Prabang, I visited ancient Buddhist temples and historic sites in the UNESCO-listed old town.
