The truth is, you don’t get there by just splashing water on your face and calling it a day. If you want incredible skin, I’ve learned it comes down to three pillars: skincare, lifestyle, and diet. When you dial in all three, that’s when your complexion really levels up. At the end of the day, the lesson is simple: what you do for your body shows up on your face. When you combine a smart skincare routine, healthy lifestyle habits, and a nutrient-dense diet, you don’t just get decent skin—you get next-level, glass-skin territory. And when your skin looks incredible, you look healthier, more confident, and more attractive—period. First, let’s talk SKINCARE, because this is the foundation. I always start with the basics: I wash my face twice a day using a gentle, high-quality cleanser. Harsh soaps and body washes are a disaster because they destroy your skin barrier, leaving your face dry and irritated. Twice a week, I exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and bring fresh, healthy skin to the surface. Then comes the step most guys skip—but shouldn’t—a quality serum, which helps even skin tone, tighten pores, and boost overall skin health. Before leaving the house each day, I apply an SPF moisturizer because the sun is one of the biggest enemies of youthful skin. At night, I repeat the routine—cleanse and moisturize—so my skin can recover while I sleep. And speaking of sleep, I also recommend using a silk pillowcase and keeping your sheets clean, because bacteria and buildup on dirty bedding can wreck your complexion. Next is LIFESTYLE, which has a massive impact on how your skin looks. I prioritize seven to eight hours of sleep because when you’re sleep-deprived, your skin looks dull, dry, and tired. I also try to get morning sunlight, which helps regulate my circadian rhythm, boosts vitamin D, and supports overall health—including testosterone production. Exercise is another non-negotiable for me. I lift weights three to five times per week, which increases circulation, boosts collagen production, and gives your skin that healthy glow. I also love using a sauna a few times a week because sweating helps flush toxins and improves blood flow. And one thing I always try to control is stress—because high cortisol levels make you look older, more tired, and just less healthy overall. Another big lifestyle factor is hydration and alcohol consumption. Alcohol dehydrates the body and causes inflammation, which can lead to redness and broken capillaries in the skin. So I keep alcohol limited and instead focus on drinking plenty of water—about a gallon a day. Personally, I like adding lemon because it provides vitamin C and helps support hydration and detoxification. Finally, we’ve got DIET, which might be the most overlooked factor in great skin. The first thing I try to reduce is sugar and ultra-processed foods, because sugar damages collagen through a process called glycation, which accelerates aging and wrinkles. To support healthy skin, I focus on antioxidants like vitamin C, which fight free radical damage and help protect skin from environmental stress. I also pay attention to healthy fats, especially omega-3s from foods like salmon, avocados, nuts, and legumes. These fats help reduce inflammation and keep skin looking smooth and hydrated. At the same time, I try to avoid processed oils and heavily fried foods, which can increase inflammation and negatively impact both your health and complexion.
