Finally… after only five short years of being gently reminded (daily) by my wife, I decided it was time to finish the project. You know… before it officially qualified as a historical landmark. Naturally, instead of doing it the normal way, I brought in the real professional—my 7-year-old daughter—and put her in the operator seat of the heavy equipment while I handled the rigging like a highly trained supervisor (aka standing around and pretending I’m in charge). Turns out she runs equipment better than most adults… which is great for the project, but really does wonders for my self-esteem 👍 Everything was going perfectly—project getting done, skills being shown up, childhood dreams of early retirement forming—until YouTube stepped in and demonetized the video. Apparently watching a 7-year-old out-operate half the internet was just too much for them to handle. Can’t blame them though… I’d be jealous too.
