Finally… I did it. I went all the way to California and picked up one of the cleanest classic Ford trucks I’ve ever laid eyes on. I’m talking so clean it made my other trucks look like they’ve been living in a swamp (which… let’s be honest… they have). Naturally, I brought it home, admired it way too much, and then loaded up my 7-year-old daughter for the official “expert evaluation test drive.” Because if it doesn’t impress a second grader, is it even worth owning? She gave it the nod of approval, and just when I’m sure you’re all convinced I finally made a good life decision… Plot twist. It’s not mine. Never was. I just chauffeured it home for a buddy of mine who actually bought it. So yeah… I got emotionally attached to someone else’s dream truck, let my kid test drive it, and then had to hand over the keys like a complete professional. 10/10 experience.
