In this video, I head to BTS Wutthakat, a proper local neighbourhood in Bangkok that’s NOT a tourist hotspot and NOT a famous food area… but still packed with some of the best Thai street food you’ll find anywhere. No Google Maps. No research. Just walking, following my nose, and seeing what I can find. The challenge? Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner for under $10 USD. 📍 Stops in This Video We start the day right outside Wutthakat BTS station with one of Thailand’s most iconic street foods — moo ping (grilled pork skewers) from my favourite local vendor. Then head over to Keiken Coffee for a morning coffee, before taking everything to relax by the water at Wat Nang Chee (วัดนางชี พระอารามหลวง กรุงเทพมหานคร) — a peaceful riverside temple that most tourists never visit. For lunch, we stumble across a hidden Southern Thai restaurant tucked away in a back alley: หน้าบ้านแกงใต้ พริกแกงใต้แท้ รสมือแม่ “Front Yard Southern Curry – Authentic Southern Curry Paste, Homemade Flavour” Here we go all in on bold Southern flavours: • Kua Kling (คั่วกลิ้ง) – dry, spicy minced meat curry • Beef curry with coconut milk – rich and deeply flavoured • Gaeng Prik Si Kong Moo (แกงพริกซี่โครงหมู) – fiery pork rib curry packed with heat This is REAL Thai food — intense, spicy, and full of flavour. 📍 https://maps.app.goo.gl/5qgm9F8pdhAay9Mr7?g_st=ic Before finishing the day at Sawasdee Isan – Sathorn Ratchaphruek (สวัสดีอีสาน สาทร ราชพฤกษ์), a proper local Northeastern Thai restaurant, for some top-tier kor moo yang (grilled pork neck) and a fresh, crunchy cucumber som tam. 📍 https://maps.app.goo.gl/6AcZdTQQekx9tH4a6?g_st=ic 🇹🇭 Why This Area?
