I first built a FreeNAS system nearly a decade ago now, and I built my UNRAID system almost exactly five years ago (genuinely, by the time this video comes out it’ll be within a week of being exactly five years), so I figure with all that experience under my belt, it’s worth taking a look at the two NAS operating systems I still use now so I can hopefully help you decide which is right for you.
