AI coding has gotten way more complicated than it needs to be. In this video, I break down my simple AI coding workflow, why I think a lot of modern AI coding setups are over-engineered, and how I use AI to build apps fast as a solo developer. If you’ve been overwhelmed by AI agents, sub-agents, skills, swarms, browser automation, and all the other complex AI coding workflows floating around online, this is my honest take on what actually works. I walk through the exact AI workflow I use inside Claude Code and Conductor, including how I plan features phase by phase, keep pull requests small, review code more effectively, and update my project documentation so future AI coding sessions have better context. Instead of trying to build a fully autonomous AI software engineer, I use AI as a force multiplier for my own output and stay involved in the loop for anything that actually matters. ​ This is the same simple AI coding workflow I’ve used while building YBI as a solo developer, scaling the product to roughly $8K a month in revenue and over 25,000 users.
