One key advantage is that they use high-quality LED chips by Osram -- a company known for its great LED products. The LED chips have a very high color rendering index (CRI) of 92, which means the light they produce preserves the colors of the objects it illuminates. Another advantage is that I have four separate LEDs, which can be wired in parallel or in series.
