Today we’re hitting the road and heading to Queenstown in our little Smurf mobile. Come sit in the back seat with us as we travel through some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Along the way we stop in Wanaka to see the famous tree growing straight out of the lake. Yep, it’s real. We grab breakfast in a place you wouldn’t expect, wander along the water, cross a driftwood bridge, and soak up those unreal mountain views. From quiet lake spots to busy little towns, snowy peaks, roadside viewpoints and finally rolling into Queenstown, this day honestly blew our expectations. We end it by checking into an insane Airbnb with lake views, a bathtub view, and even a sauna.
