From video: Does Extreme Cooling Make A Pi 5 Faster? #raspberrypi #pi5 #techtok #peltier
Published: March 2, 2026

Video Description

In this video, I test extreme Pi 5 Peltier cooling to see if sub-ambient temperatures actually improve performance. Starting with passive cooling, then adding a fan, a full CPU tower cooler, and finally stacked TEC modules, I push the Raspberry Pi 5 down to 6°C under load. Using stress-ng and Geekbench benchmarks, we compare thermal performance, power draw, and real-world gains to find out if extreme cooling is worth it, or just completely unnecessary.
