RCore Bow Grips

This is my barebow indoor scoring round for the Backyard Archery Championships and my first barebow round for score in about two years. I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this, but it ended up being one of the best barebow rounds I’ve shot in terms of control and execution. I shot every arrow with control, managed my target panic well, and stayed committed to each shot. Using a tab sear made a massive difference for me, and shooting a lot of compound recently helped put me in a much better mental space going into this round. In this video I talk through what I was feeling, what helped, and why focusing on control instead of outcome made such a big difference. This round was a big reminder that progress doesn’t always come from shooting more arrows, but from shooting with intention. The Backyard Archery Championships is a digital mail-in tournament where archers from around the world can register, shoot at home, submit scores, and see how they stack up against others.
