RCore Bow Grips

This is my indoor recurve scoring round for the Kaminski Archery Backyard Championships. I shot this round using the same arrows that participants can win as part of the current giveaway tied to the event! This round didn’t start great. I was trying to control too many details at once and it showed in my execution. As the round went on, I simplified my focus and went back to the most important things that must happen no matter what. Once I did that, my shooting improved immediately in the second half. In this video I talk through what I was feeling, where things were breaking down, and why focusing on the highest-priority fundamentals matters so much when you’re under pressure. Even when other things aren’t perfect, maintaining direction, tension, and commitment to the shot made the biggest difference for me.
