From video: How to Export SVG from Adobe Fresco (The Workaround That Actually Works)
Published: March 10, 2026

Video Description

Adobe Fresco doesn’t export SVG files… which sounds like a dealbreaker if you want to create vector artwork. But it turns out there’s a workaround. In this video I show a simple workflow that lets you take vector artwork from Adobe Fresco and turn it into fully editable SVG files without touching Adobe Illustrator. The trick is exporting a vector PDF from Fresco and opening it in Affinity, where you can edit paths, merge shapes, separate colors, and export to SVG, EPS, or whatever format you need. This is especially useful if you’re creating logos, merch designs, screen print artwork, stickers, or client work where vector files are required. I also show one small Fresco quirk involving clipping masks that can cause parts of your artwork to rasterize during export—and how to avoid it. If you’ve ever wondered how to get editable vector files out of Adobe Fresco, this workflow makes it surprisingly easy. Topics covered: • Exporting vector artwork from Adobe Fresco • Opening Fresco PDFs in Affinity • Editing vector paths with the Node Tool • Organizing layers and separating colors • Preparing artwork for screen printing • Avoiding rasterization issues with clipping masks • Exporting SVG, EPS, and other vector formats 🌐 Website: https://www.chrispiascik.com 🖌 Check out my Retro Supply Co Brush and Texture pack: https://bit.ly/3Lk5cMl 💟 Become a Patron for exclusive content / access: https://www.patreon.com/c/chrispiascik 🐐👨‍👨‍👦‍👦 👨‍👩‍👧👩‍👧‍👦🦁🦄 Join our growing creative community on Discord: https://discord.gg/aBsrr6PuMN 💌 Sign up to my mailing list and get a free download!: https://www.chrispiascik.com/free-download 🛒 Stuff I use and Recommend: https://tinyurl.com/CPamazonshop 👨‍🎓 Check out my Skillshare classes w/ a FREE Month: https://tinyurl.com/MYSKILLSHARE #art #illustration #drawing #DigitalArt ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ DISCLOSURE: I sometimes review and/or link to products & services I have used (or tried).
