I'm probably getting lazy ("probably" doing a lot of heavy lifting, let's be real), but the NHL certainly isn't for the faint of heart. The Western Conference has two different dynamics; a yin and yang of teams and skill. You have the sheer talent at the top of the Central, with three groups running away as surefire cup contenders. Then there's the Pacific. It's a gongshow, and that's putting it lightly. Either teams that don't have goaltending or maddeningly inconsistent or worse. At least with the Central, you have a noticeable middle class, but the rest is definitely something to behold.
