In today’s livestream, we’re setting up Nametag, an open-source Personal Relationship Manager (PRM). Think of it like a CRM (Customer Relationship Management), but built specifically for your friends, family, and professional network instead of sales leads. Note: Nametag is currently in early development. Features are being added rapidly, so we might encounter a few "work-in-progress" moments as we explore the latest build! Why use a PRM? If you struggle to remember birthdays, kids' names, or the last time you reached out to an old colleague, Nametag helps centralize that data. We’ll be looking at the interactive network graph (which visualizes how your friends know each other) and the reminder system. We’ll be going through the entire process: - Setting up the Docker container. - Exploring the configuration and customization options. - Final thoughts on its performance and ease of use.
