So I walked up to the front door to see if someone was home, and the first thing I noticed was it was completely boarded shut, which already told me this one had a lot more going on behind the scenes. I went around and checked the back too, and that was boarded up as well, and at that point I figured the best thing I could do was at least make the outside look presentable, because even if nobody’s living there, the neighbors still have to look at it every single day. I ended up talking with a few of them off camera, and from what they told me, this place has basically been sitting like this for as long as they’ve been around, and they’ve even seen people going in and out of the backyard and hanging around the garage. It’s just been this ongoing frustration where nobody really knows what to do about it. So I got to work cleaning up the curb line, the sidewalk, and the driveway first, then I knocked down all the tall grass and got the front looking sharp again, and I also cut back a bunch of low limbs that were creeping out and making it hard for people to even walk by safely.
