Iain is invited to be part of an extraordinary event. The Centenary of the World land speed record being broken at 152.33 MPH, with the same car on the same beach, exactly 100 years to the day later. The car’s owner, Veejay Mallya, and current World land speed record holder Wing Commander Andy Green OBE, drive the car. Andy is the only person ever to break both the land speed record and sound barrier at a speed of 763 MPH/ 1228 KM/H. Iain was also judging at the Concours, but that was somewhat of a washout, as only the British weather can make happen!
