An interesting opportunity arrived this week. This is a car Iain has had no experience of, but is a historic model that amongst other things also apparently inspired the first- ever rock’n roll song! The Oldsmobile Rocket 88 paved the way, along with Cadillac, in what became the signature American V8 engine architecture for decades. It also obliterated the competition in NASCAR racing too.
