I finally visited this lesser-known hawker centre in central Singapore — and it turns out to be one of the cheapest too. Welcome to Blk 4A Jalan Batu Hawker Centre, located in the Mountbatten / Kallang area. Despite being right next to the famous Old Airport Road Food Centre, this place gets surprisingly little attention. Many locals don’t even know it exists. While it’s smaller in size, some of the stalls here serve really good food at extremely affordable prices. Let’s see if this hidden spot is actually worth visiting.
