Marathon is here, and honestly...The game is fine. It's mid. It's okay. It could improve a ton. It has problems, but it's also pretty decent. Is it a game that is going to do super well? Probably not compared to great games. It's likely going to struggle to recoup development costs unless something massively changes, because it's competing with super niche, hardcore games, and super accessible casual games without likely drawing in a sizeable number of either audience. But we'll see how it goes on official launch and how they handle the initial drop off and content treadmill required to keep this type of game populated.
