But we do know this whatever was going on here, it’s been neglected for a long time. And standing there, the question wasn’t whether it looked rough. The question was whether we were going to drive away like everyone else… or step in and do what we could. The boys didn’t hesitate. And as we got the equipment unloaded, they also challenged me to a snowball fight — because apparently that’s how you break the tension before cleaning up one of the creepiest houses we’ve ever seen.
