Alright… let’s talk about Maryland. Yes, I know. Crabs. Sailboats. Naval Academy. Waterfront charm. Old money energy. And also… some crime stats that might make you reconsider that cute little historic walking tour. 😬 In this video, I ranked the 10 most dangerous places in Maryland using the most recent violent and property crime data per 100,000 residents. Not feelings. Not rumors. Not “I’ve lived here 27 years and nothing’s ever happened to me.” Actual numbers. Some of these are tiny little suburbs right outside D.C. Some are tourist hotspots that are statistical outliers. One of them… you already know who it is. We’re looking at violent crime rates, property crime rates, median household income, poverty levels, income gaps, and the overall situation on the ground. Because usually when crime is high… there’s other stuff going on too. As always, crime rates don’t define every neighborhood or every resident. There are good people everywhere. But numbers don’t lie either. If a place is three or four times the national average… that’s not just “bad luck.” If you enjoy city breakdowns that mix real data with stupid made up scenarios and stupid sound bites, hit like and subscribe.
