Video Description

Behind the scenes, I've been working with the WebUSB protocol. . .and it has enabled me to create some useful and unique tools for the Android community.
So today, I want you to take a few minutes to look over this new website I've been working on and let me know what you think.
It's called 80bee.com. . .that's 8-0-b-e-e dot com
and it enables you execute certain commands on your phone via ADB. . .without ever needing to open a command prompt or terminal window.
Let me show you how it works. . .
Connect the Device
The first thing you need to do for this tool to function is connect the phone to the website itself.
So click on that blue button up here at the top right
And then you'll be shown the onboarding process.
This will walk you through enabling Developer Mode, enabling USB Debugging, connecting the phone to the PC with a USB cable, pairing the phone to the website itself and then confirming the connection via the USB Debugging pop-up that appears.
Once you have that part setup, though
the rest of the site becomes accessible for you.
Boot Manager Features
So you can jump into the boot manager page
and use it to reboot your Android smartphone or tablet into recovery mode. . .or Fastboot mode. . .or even Download Mode. . .as long as you have a Samsung device.
User Interface Features
If you dive into this page, though, it will check to see what your current animation speed is set to. It'll check your current DPI, your current resolution, your long-press delay, and more.
And from here, you can disable the animations entirely
Or you can make those animations really slow. . .all from the sliders here.
You can manually enter a new DPI you'd like to use. . .or you can select from one of these popular presets that we have here.
And we can customize the display resolution as well
Even if your phone doesn't offer a way to natively change the resolution. . .it's possible via ADB. . .so it's available on the website 80bee.com
There's an App Compiler at the bottom of this page
Which allows us to send a command to the phone that will compile all of your apps into native machine code. So they launch and perform much faster than normal.
Battery & Shizuku
I'm also working on adding some settings to help with battery life
So those will be found in here.
And I just started working on a Shizuku setup page
Because I know how annoying it can be to install and make sure the service is running in the background.
This whole section is in beta right now, though, as I'm still testing things to see if they function properly.
I have some plans laid out that will allow you to easily debloat your phone. . .
while also offering a way for you to manually go in and disable/archive/uninstall any application on your phone. whether the app was pre-installed from the factory or not.
But I would love to hear what you think about this project so far.
I'm curious to hear if you think something like this would be useful for the community.
And I'm always open to suggestions too.
So if you would like to see a feature added to the site. . .I would be happy to look into developing that into the website for you.
A project like this is going to live or die by the community, though.
So I need for you all to share this video with your fellow Android community members
and send them that URL too
it's 8-0-b-e-e.com
I could see renaming it to something else in the future. But I like the idea of the project having a unique name so that it's easy for everyone to find.
